You will join a fast-growing healthcare operations environment focused on supporting autism care providers through efficient credentialing and administrative processes. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring providers are properly credentialed and re-credentialed so they can deliver care without delays or compliance risks. You will work closely with internal teams, providers, and external stakeholders such as licensing boards and insurance payers. The position requires strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and the ability to manage sensitive regulatory documentation. You will contribute directly to improving access to care by ensuring provider onboarding and compliance processes run smoothly. This is a dynamic role in a mission-driven organization where accuracy and efficiency have a real-world impact on healthcare delivery.
Accountabilities:
- Support end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- Perform primary source verification and maintain up-to-date credentialing records in internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as relevant accreditation and payer requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for providers and external entities such as licensing boards and insurance payers regarding credentialing inquiries.
- Assist with provider privileging and onboarding by preparing required documentation and coordinating credentialing steps.
- Generate credentialing reports and help identify inconsistencies, gaps, or process issues.
- Support continuous improvement of credentialing workflows and administrative processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely completion of credentialing activities.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and secure documentation in line with operational standards.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, ideally within healthcare or regulated environments.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with administrative workflows, compliance processes, and structured documentation systems.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Slack, CRM systems, and willingness to learn new platforms.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in data or documentation.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with healthcare credentialing or provider onboarding processes.
