Keep reading…   A day in the life…Wondering what a day in the life of a  Credentialing Coordinator at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Preparing applications for insurance payers, federal programs, and hospital privileges
• Assisting new providers in their application and credentialing process
• Working with existing providers and their office staff in the re-credentialing process for insurance payers and hospitals
• Overseeing successful completion of the credentialing process for new and successful re-credentialing process for existing providers and following up on incomplete applications
• Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

The schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday, based around the hours of 7am - 5pm (8-hour days) onsite in West Des Moines.  This job might be for you if you have….Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with a physician credentialing and a working knowledge of different types of insurance programs preferred

• Ability to operate a computer and work with computer spreadsheet software
