Creative | Production | Leadership
The Creative Strategist is the owner of a pod and is fully accountable for its creative, operational, and performance success.  
This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, social media expertise, production execution, and people leadership. The Creative Strategist sees both the big picture and the smallest details. They are responsible for where the page is going, how it grows, and how the team delivers day to day.  
The need to leave and breathe their channel!  

Core Responsibilities

  1. Creative Ownership and Strategy


The Creative Strategist leads the full creative direction for their accounts.
This includes:

  • Translating client goals and direction into a clear creative strategy.

  • Building a long-term content direction, not just individual videos.

  • Creating structured posting plans that serve a bigger narrative and growth vision.

  • Understanding storytelling deeply, ensuring every video is compelling, relevant, and clear.

  • Being the final creative approval for all content before publishing.

  • Ensuring high creative standards, no mistakes in storytelling, messaging, subtitles, or execution.

The CS is expected to think strategically about the page’s evolution, audience growth, and positioning, not only daily execution.
  1. Social Media Expertise


The Creative Strategist is deeply fluent in social media trends and performance dynamics.
This includes:

  • Strong understanding of what works and what does not across platforms.

  • Ability to pivot quickly based on performance, trends, and audience response.

  • Constant exploration of new formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches.

  • Making data-informed creative decisions without losing intuition and originality.
  1. Production and Operations Ownership


The Creative Strategist owns everything related to production and delivery.
This includes:

  • Full responsibility for pod KPIs and output targets.

  • Ensuring content is delivered on time, consistently, and at high quality.

  • Optimizing workflows and processes to increase efficiency and output.

  • Pushing the team to go above and beyond where possible.

  • Coordinating all production elements, schedules, resources, and handoffs.

  • Escalating issues early and proactively when risks arise.

The CS ensures the pod runs smoothly, efficiently, and reliably.
  1. Team Management and Leadership


All pod members report directly to the Creative Strategist.
This includes:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing team members.

  • Improving team skills, confidence, and creative thinking.

  • Creating a collaborative environment where the team operates as one unit.

  • Making sure each team member has what they need to succeed.

  • Addressing performance issues clearly and constructively.

  • Building a strong team culture focused on excellence and ownership.

The CS is accountable for both results and people.
  1. Client Communication and Alignment


The Creative Strategist is the main point of contact for the client on content matters.
This includes:

  • Participating in a dedicated WhatsApp group with the client.

  • Presenting content plans and creative directions.

  • Receiving and managing client feedback.

  • Implementing feedback while protecting creative quality and strategic direction.

  • Ensuring ongoing alignment with client goals and expectations.

  1. Accountability and Performance


The Creative Strategist is accountable for the overall success of the page.

  • Success is measured through clear KPIs related to growth, performance, and delivery.

  • A performance-based compensation structure is tied to achieving specific KPIs.

  • When things go well, the CS is recognized.

  • When issues arise, the CS is expected to own them and resolve them.

  • Strong creative strategist with hands-on social media experience.

  • Deep understanding of storytelling and digital content.

  • Highly organised, operationally strong, and detail-oriented.

  • Able to think long-term while executing day to day.

  • Natural leader who knows how to push people to do their best work.

  • Comfortable with ownership, responsibility, and accountability.
