Job Description

As a Creative QC Technician (Quality Controller) at Pixelogic Media, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end measurements and quality checks on the media files received from our global clients. You will work closely with our Producers, Designers, Production Artists and Data I/O teams to identify and report any graphic, audio and video technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality reviews on all required graphic, audio and video source materials received.
  • Perform detailed quality control of static creative assets, including marketing posters, key art, covers, thumbnails, banners, promotional artwork and other still-image deliverables, ensuring visual accuracy
  • Experience with trailers, marketing/promotional content, localization, graphics, VFX, finishing or other specialized post-production workflows.
  • Follow and complete workflow-specific QC checklists without deviation.
  • Monitor and maintain your schedule through Pixelogic’s workflow management system and complete all the tasks in an efficient and quality manner following the defined priorities and guidelines.
  • Maintain, update, and document the team’s knowledge database and training materials.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our IQC processes and work with the relevant teams to implement changes and put them into practice.
  • Abide by security policies and protect information assets entrusted to you.
  • Build and ensure consistent and thorough QC procedures of all elements throughout the project’s lifecycle
  • Engage and support interdepartmental teams, workflows, and initiatives
  • Manage multiple ongoing titles, teams, and responsibilities of varying degrees of complexity simultaneously
  • Ability to provide clear, concise and actionable QC feedback that can be understood and resolved efficiently by production teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media, a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working in a post-production environment, ideally with media quality control or finalizing knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of media terminologies related to graphics, audio and video.
  • Technically literate; comfortable with a variety of computer applications with expertise working with various tools for graphics and video playback, working with complex software and hardware such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Indesign, Illustrator, Davinci Resolve, etc.
  • Requires attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both written and verbally.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new methods, procedures, or techniques and take on new tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with only general supervision.
  • High level of adaptability, flexibility, and effectiveness in handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel. Skill with Keynote, Pages, Numbers a plus.
  • Experience in video content production and editorial a plus.
