Position Description
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seeking a creative, driven, and versatile Producer/Editor (Long-form) to help tell the stories that define our team, players, fans, and community. This role will be responsible for producing and editing original long-form content across YouTube, owned media platforms, and partner integrations, with a focus on premium storytelling that deepens fan engagement and strengthens the Buccaneers brand.
Reporting to the Director of Production, the Producer/Editor will develop and execute compelling content ranging from branded content series to player features, as well as behind-the-scenes storytelling and documentary-style series. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller first, equally comfortable behind a camera, in the edit bay, on a sideline, or directing talent in a studio environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead producer and editor for original long-form Buccaneers content across YouTube and owned media platforms.
- Develop and pitch original content concepts that support organizational objectives, audience growth, and fan engagement.
- Produce player features, documentary-style storytelling, behind-the-scenes content, branded content, and special projects.
- Partner with Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Football Communications, and other internal stakeholders to execute integrated content initiatives.
- Collaborate with digital teams to leverage audience insights and platform performance data to inform content strategy.
- Direct players, coaches, alumni, fans, and on-camera talent in studio and field production environments.
- Edit content using industry-leading storytelling techniques while maintaining Buccaneers brand standards and visual identity.
- Complete post-production finishing, including color grading, sound design, audio mixing, and delivery.
- Support partner-sponsored and branded content initiatives while maintaining authentic storytelling and audience value.
- Assist with gameday, tentpole events, community initiatives, and other club content needs as assigned.
- Contribute to department-wide creative ideation and help uphold a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience producing and editing long-form, documentary, broadcast, sports, or branded content.
- Demonstrated experience creating compelling visual stories from concept through final delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Production, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Experience working in professional sports, entertainment, media, or agency environments is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of documentary storytelling, narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement.
- Experience shooting with pro camera systems.
- Knowledge of post-production workflows, media management, and content delivery standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure production environments.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across departments.
- Experience field producing and directing talent is preferred.
- Passion for sports storytelling and creating meaningful connections between teams, players, and fans.
- Working knowledge of the NFL and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization is preferred.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours, including Buccaneers home games, away-game coverage as assigned, and select club events.

- Creative storyteller with strong experience in producing, shooting, writing, and editing.
- Basic lighting skills
- Solid understanding of the Buccaneers brand, current content trends, and the demands of a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
- Ability to bring fresh ideas, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality to every project.
- The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and a dedication to maintaining the high standards of the Buccaneers organization.
Experience & Education
- Minimum three years working in a production environment is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Film or similar track is preferred, or commensurate work experience
- Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is preferred
- Experience serving as a completely independent segment producer is required.
Technical Knowledge
- Ability to manage digital files, databases, and shared drives effectively
- Skilled in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Experience using collaboration platforms such as Teams, Zoom, or similar
Additional Technical Knowledge
- Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere and After Effects
- ARRI Amira and Alexa35 workflow
- Sony FX3 and FX6 workflow
- Lectrosonics, Shure, and Q5X wireless audio calibration and capture
Work Environment
- Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
- Required to work all home and some away games
- May have to work occasional holidays
- Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
- Must be comfortable working in a high intensity setting, meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results
- Required to drive company vehicle, personal vehicle, or golf cart
Physical Fitness Standards
- Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 20 – 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform occasional physical tasks, which may include working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and kneel

- Ability to move equipment or materials as required
