Job Description
Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake®, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is looking for a Creative Operations Lead for our growing self-publishing team.
To take on the new role of Creative Operations Lead, Remedy is looking for a skilled and dedicated professional. In this role, you operate at the intersection of marketing, publishing, and creative. You collaborate closely with senior members of the publishing team to drive creative operations across marketing campaigns and internal initiatives. With marketing priorities and creative direction defined, you will translate requests into clear creative solutions. You do this by structured processes, aligning stakeholders and elevating the quality of execution across teams.
You will lead our Creative Services unit while bringing clarity, structure, support and momentum to marketing workstreams. Ultimately, this role ensures that strong visions don’t get stuck in ambiguity, and that our campaigns are delivered with focus, consistency, and impact.
We are a small, ambitious self-publishing team, who develops our ways of working as we go. Creative Services is a close-knit group, meaning this role combines leadership with hands-on involvement.
Remedy enthusiastically welcome diverse viewpoints and backgrounds. At Remedy, we value and are committed to ensuring an inclusive and safe work environment for all our team members.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- In this role you will provide operational leadership to the Creative Services team, ensuring they are set up for success with clear inputs, timely feedback, strong cross-team support and well-defined priorities.
- Own the planning and delivery of marketing assets and activities, ensuring outputs are aligned with goals, stakeholder expectations and agreed priorities.
- Navigate creative and commercial perspectives. Constructively challenge ideas, refine requests, and balance ambition with execution to enable high-quality and timely delivery.
- Manage a broad stakeholder network across Publishing, Game Teams, Creative Services, and Senior Studio leadership. Bring clarity, structure, and effective communication to complex workflows.
- Design, implement, and maintain delivery frameworks (timelines, dependencies, review gates, ceremonies, decision points) that make execution predictable, visible and trusted.
- Turn strategic and creative direction into executable plans, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks and trade-offs to support informed decision-making.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Strong background in marketing delivery, campaign operations, and/or project management in complex cross-functional environments.
- Leadership experience, including people management and the ability to motivate, guide and support high-performing teams.
- Proven track-record of designing workflows, managing dependencies, and operating predictable scalable delivery systems across different organizational contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to comfortably operate in ambiguous environments, balance competing priorities, and drive sustainable change.
- Hands-on experience overseeing creative asset production, preferably from the games industry.
- Solid understanding of mainstream audiences and commercially effective creative standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse audiences with confidence and credibility.
- You thrive in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. You are used to collaborating with colleagues across different departments and you are able to communicate and present your ideas in a clear and coherent way. As a team member, you are dedicated to contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
- You can also work independently, being organized and able to document your work.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- At Remedy, you get to work on awesome, memorable gaming experiences for our players in a studio where your input is valued, and your creative freedom is encouraged.
- We offer a collaborative environment that values both individual and teamwork, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and workloads stay manageable. We believe in and support work-life balance — happy people work better.
- We offer an extensive set of employee benefits and an annual bonus system as well as opportunities for you to develop your skills further. On top of this, in Finland you get up to 5 weeks of paid vacation, in addition to public holidays and other special occasions.
- We have two offices, one in Finland, in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and one in Stockholm, Sweden. Both locations are well known for their exceptional quality of life, free education and pristine nature at your doorstep. This role is for our office in Espoo, Finland.
- If you are not already in Finland, we offer relocation support to help you with the move. Our relocation package also includes a relocation allowance, determined based on location and individual circumstances, so you can focus on your work while we support your transition.
- Our studio is embracing a hybrid work model that gives you the flexibility to work from home and have valuable face-to-face time with your colleagues.
