Job Description

At Jonsson Workwear, we empower our customers to make their workwear distinctly their own through our state-of-the-art, in-store customisation services.

To deliver a truly exceptional customisation experience at our Durbanville store, we are seeking a vibrant Creative Designer to be a driving force of innovation and ideation within our world of workwear. With your contagious energy, infinite enthusiasm and determination, you’ll seize every opportunity to transform the beginnings of an idea into something extraordinary for our customers.

It might be designing a logo to be expertly embroidered on a customer’s chosen shirt or finding the perfect placement for high-visibility tape on their selected jeans. With our extensive, floor-to-ceiling range of workwear and convenient in-store customisation options, the possibilities are endless. As our in-store creative expert, you’ll be the spark that ignites every bold idea, inspiring customers to maximise the possibilities of what we can create with them.

With your conceptual storytelling, sharp eye for cohesive solutions and go-getter energy, you’ll explore every creative possibility, ultimately turning their “What if?” into a “Wow!” By combining your design expertise, authentic vibrancy and unrelenting curiosity, you will transform what’s possible into distinctive, one-of-a-kind customised garments that create a lasting impression and speak volumes.

The energetic and conceptual creative best suited to this role will be required to:
• Collaborate with walk-in customers to brainstorm and develop unique workwear concepts.
• Bring fresh, innovative thinking to reimagine workwear customisation solutions and inspire customers with creative possibilities.
• Apply your design skills and knowledge of our customisation facilities to propose creative and practical solutions.
• Use your styling expertise to advise customers on product selection from our in-store workwear range, branding placement, colour combinations and overall presentation to create impactful workwear solutions.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to every interaction, inspiring customers with what we can make possible.
• Have a passion for consistently delivering exceptional service and exceeding customers’ expectations.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work, from carefully detailed designs to systematic file organisation.
• Travel to Jonsson Workwear stores as required to support customisation initiatives, training opportunities and collaboration across locations.
• Actively assist customers on the retail floor, delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, memorable store experience.

In line with Jonsson Workwear’s commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.
