Job Description

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include setting up equipment, sanitizing equipment, cleaning equipment and floors, walls, ceilings. Blending cheese, make cheese, make starter, other duties as assigned. Running all tests required. Complete PASS sheets, other duties as assigned.

PAY:

  • $28.93

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:00PM (8 hour shifts)

* must be able to work overtime

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background)
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and being on your feet
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a wet or food production setting
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed
  • Active, physical work (standing, walking, bending)
  • Food production environment with cleaning and sanitation duties
  • Exposure to moisture, cleaning products, and production equipment
