The CRC Technician will support calibrated tool management for both external calibrations and in-house calibrations. They will maintain calibrated tool RFID cabinets in proper working order. In addition, they will support material handling operations within the Cleans and Repair Part operations. As such they will interact with Fab Engineering, Cleans and Repair Vendors, and other CRC personnel. They will utilize a parts management system for tracking and processing part transactions. The CRC Technician is expected to discover and implement continuous improvements to the operations, systems and business processes within the area.
Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Coordinating and collecting calibration tools across the site that are due or over-due for calibration.
Dispositioning calibration tools by sending to an external calibration vendor, or performing in-house calibration where applicable.
Troubleshooting: Identify, investigate, and resolve issues with out-of-tolerance equipment.
Tracking status of calibration tools as they progress through their life cycle.
Ensuring tracking, certifications and documentation of calibration tools including RF ID labeling of tools
Perform basic maintenance on RFID cabinets and escalate to vendor for more complex repairs
Maintain in-house certifications functions related to Torque, Bubble Level, Multi-Meter, Scales, Calipers, etc.
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide Peer Training
Track and monitor system(s) for in-coming parts from Spare Parts.
Manage equipment parts for transport.
Maintain part quality by practicing proper part handling skills.
Communicate and escalation of system and part issue.
PDA and EMS utilization.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Associates degree in a technical / mechanical discipline or equivalent experience.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with metrology, electrical/mechanical principles, and calibration tools.
Analytical Skills: High attention to detail for identifying, measuring, and adjusting equipment.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Communication skills to update other departments and leadership about tooling issues and to ensure work continues seamlessly across shifts.
Previous calibration experience is preferred.
The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $29.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
