The CRC Lead is responsible for mentoring and leading a team of employees to safely produce high-quality components while meeting customer commitments and operational objectives. This role provides leadership in workflow coordination, quality assurance, and team development while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with Wheeler Machinery and Caterpillar safety standards. The CRC Lead serves as a key resource within the shop and will support supervisor responsibilities during absences.
The successful CRC Lead consistently promotes a safe working environment, develops employees through coaching and mentorship, and ensures work is completed right the first time. They effectively manage workflow to meet customer commitments and strict turnaround requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, communication, and accountability. They are viewed as a trusted leader, technical resource, and role model within the shop.
