Are you looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? Join the Catholic Charities team! For the last 100 years, we have had the distinct honor to provide help and hope for those in need. At Catholic Charities, our mission is to empower individuals and strengthen families. We do this through our vital programs including a food pantry, counseling services, emergency family shelter, community resource coordination, and domestic violence and sexual assault programming. We care for the dignity of the person, regardless of background and strive to provide unparalleled support for those in need.
The Case Manager supports newly arrived refugee clients throughout the contracted federal Program of Initial Resettlement (PIR) process. Under the Catholic Charities’ Community Resource Coordination (CRC) program, this role assists clients in obtaining necessary services including housing, healthcare, education, eligible public benefits, and other services. In addition, the Case Manager directly transports and accompanies clients to appointments and delegates tasks to Case Aide, volunteers, and interns as necessary to ensure all services are provided within deadlines. This position maintains detailed written documentation of services and completes case files, while effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

None of us know when adversity will leave us feeling hopeless. Catholic Charities serves the people of southwest Iowa when they find themselves in need of help. From basic needs of food and shelter, to empowerment programs that lead to housing, employment, and more. Professional counseling services help to sort out barriers that can keep people from being their best. Educational programs build client skills to help them thrive in the future. We continue to adapt to the needs in our communities so that we are offering services relevant to clients. At the base of it all, we build all of these services on the basis of Catholic Social Teaching, which is focused on social justice, dignity, and respect.
