Installation of new and renewing administered cases to include group demographics, benefits, rates, benefit calculations, business rules and enrollment.

Required Responsibilities:

  • Accurate case installation to ensure efficient carrier transmission, employer billing, and benefit utilization.
  • Process enrollment for new and renewing cases in all systems in accordance with group paperwork as well as carrier guidelines.
  • Notify Quality Assurance that the case is complete and ready to be quality checked
  • Move cases to a billing division in IBAS when the case and related quality assurance has been completed and bill can be generated.
  • Enter data for the set-up of COBRA Administration on a group level.
  • Process transactions regarding employee eligibility in the required carrier systems; including, but not limited to, urgent enrollments, COBRA reinstatements, COBRA end dates, re-hires, Medicare and PCP information.
  • Daily utilization of reports to monitor workflow; including but not limited to Division reports, workflow, Unbilled, transmission, error correction, and Problem Tracker.
  • Meet and exceed all set service agreements and BenefitMall procedures:
  • Meet/exceed all documented Service Level Agreements; including but not limited to, Problem Tracker resolution, quality assurance, case installation, and error corrections.
  • Meet/exceed all documented Service Level Agreements; including but not limited to, Problem Tracker resolution, quality assurance, case installation, and error corrections
  • Adherence to all documented procedures and Standard Operating Processes
  • Maintain effective communication with Mid-Atlantic New Business to ensure smooth implementation of coverage.
  • Identify the need to escalate issues to Supervisor, Manager and/or Director
  • Actively participate in departmental and team meetings and apply gained knowledge to day-to-day processes
  • Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years experience.
  • Understanding of the health insurance industry.
  • Strong experience with accurately entering data into computer system.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook Exchange; proficiency with web browsers.

The annual base salary for this position is $46,000.00 - $52,000.00.
