
Benefits:
Load/unload or otherwise move inventory to/from trailers, rail cars, barges or warehouse floor through the use of overhead crane or other material handling equipment as specified according to work orders and by directive of supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Document and report inventory location changes according to specified procedures.
· Assemble customer orders according to work orders and procedures.
· Document, tag & paint inventory received according to specified procedures.
· Record pertinent material information on to work orders or other forms as specified by local procedure.
· Special projects as specified by management.
· Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
· Adhere to all company safety policies & procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
· Perform daily pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition; report and communicate any defects, concerns or maintenance needs.
· Recognize and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions in the work area to supervision.
· Maintain professional communication with other operators, supervisors, & departments as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
