Position: Crane Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of cranes in the oil and gas industry. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy equipment, materials, and machinery on our project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on project sites
• Perform pre-operational checks and inspections on cranes to ensure they are in safe working condition
• Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine crane capacities and rigging requirements
• Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient crane operations
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cranes as needed
• Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
• Keep accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections
• Train and mentor new crane operators as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in the oil and gas industry
• Valid crane operator certification and license
• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret load charts and rigging plans
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Physical ability to operate cranes and lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
