Position: Crane Operator

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Crane Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of cranes and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols. The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites and other locations as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Inspect and maintain the crane and its components to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane, including conducting pre-operational checks and communicating with ground personnel
- Read and interpret load charts to determine the appropriate crane setup and lifting techniques
- Work closely with the rigging team to ensure proper attachment and placement of loads
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to coordinate crane operations and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including crane usage, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in an industrial or construction setting
- Valid crane operator certification and/or license
- Strong understanding of crane safety protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
