Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Crane Operator - 1st Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is a range of $24.45 - $25.92 per hour. The hours for this shift are 5am - 1pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Crane Operator/ Production Support Operator supports the Lincoln Avenue production line to provide increased productivity and capacity where it is most needed. The function will require operation of an overhead crane.
In this function, you will:
• Assist Painters by prepping units, operating ovens, and operating the 25-ton crane.
• Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation, and throat installation.
• Determine from the Order Process Sheet what parts need to be kitted for Final Assembly. This includes assembling kits, unloading/retrieving tanks, and cabinets.
• Build pallets per specifications and shrink wrap transformers.
• Operate all material handling equipment such as walkies, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Assist Welders by building covers, leak testing, retrieving tanks/radiators, and crane operation.
• Serve as a back-up to Material Attendants to help unload interplant trucks and deliver materials to Final Assembly
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one year of overhead crane experience.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous forklift experience.
• Experience operating a JIB crane.
• Experience operating an overhead crane that can lift up to 30 tons.
• Competency of pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
