Job Description

Our client, a well-established company specialising in tower cranes, is looking to recruit a Crane Installer to join its team in Malta.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, dismantling and maintenance support of cranes at various construction sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and assembling crane components on construction sites.
  • Assisting with the dismantling and relocation of cranes when required.
  • Carrying out mechanical assembly and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Using hand and power tools safely and correctly.
  • Inspecting components and equipment before installation.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues.
  • Working safely at height and following all health and safety procedures.
  • Working closely with the installation team and site personnel.
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in crane installation, mechanical installation, construction, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Good practical and mechanical skills.
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
  • Good knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Reliable, responsible and able to work well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience with tower cranes is an advantage.

Only candidates currently residing in Malta will be considered for this position.
