Leads an enterprise matrix team responsible to orchestrate ad execute all related activities to ensure specific brand launches across the globe. Leads global site to market process and additional forums to ensure operations and commercial plans align to meet launch target dates. Ensures a proper escalation process and reporting for the brand launches they represent. Interacts with sites (both internal and external) Commercial and Supply Chain Leaders and peers. Represents Market launch readiness in key strategic forums

Responsibilities

  • Leads a matrix team in charge of executing all related activities for all New Product Launches, sourced for both internal and external sites and acts as a primary contact for the brand specific market launch.
  • Works cross-functionally with global and local Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing sites, Quality, Global Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Market partners and other operations departments to ensure launches are completed successfully & compliantly by the requested launch date.
  • Develops and leads launch scenarios, reviews Launch Readiness and Execution project plans against targets and provides cross-functional focus to ensure that critical activities and milestones are accomplished.
  • Anticipates problems, keep team members informed and escalates potential/major issues. Leads global launch plan execution, forum discussions and contingency actions to ensure successful execution of launch plan.
  • Prepares project significant events, performance reporting and Executive/Product specific updates.
  • Acts as core team member of Strategic Launch Forums and provides active support to the global brand strategy leads.
  • Establishes and maintains strong connectivity with other strategic organizations involved in the launch process (SPLs, Commercial, market partners, etc.) to ensure effective communication.
  • Participates as adequate in operational effectiveness projects associated with new product launch processes and supports other specific launch planning projects as requested.
  • Leads and or supports development and deployment efforts including, but not limited, to business process definition, documentation, KPIs, management reporting tools to ensure that best practices are in place.

Required Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing & packaging processes, regulatory environment, and supply chain processes.
  • Understanding of Finance principles, P&L, Budget, and Commercially relevant business terminology.
  • Ability to influence and engage partners beyond functional responsibilities and deliver results.
  • Ability to lead with agility and adapt quickly to competing priorities while remaining focused.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the global practices where business is conducted.
  • Strong skills (verbal, presentation, written) to communicate effectively with executive level leadership such as VPs or GMs.

Required Qualifications and desired experience

  • Degree in science, preferably with focus on Packaging/Operations / Supply Chain.
  • 8+ years of related experience within Launch planning.
  • Experience with project management and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions under time pressure and strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in team leadership, cross-functional stakeholder management, team capability building.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the global practices where business is conducted.
