Department Overview
CPaaS is seeking a Business Operations Team member to support the operations of our rapidly growing business unit. CPaaS department is a small and dynamic business unit within Rakuten Symphony’s Internet Services Business Unit, delivering a cloud messaging platform for enterprise clients.

Position Details
The Business Operations team member is responsible for supporting overall business operations, including creating reports, validating costs, communicating with customers, and coordinating business-related tasks among team members and external partners. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical, and people-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Main responsibilities
Support business analytics for pricing, costs, and customer/supplier-related expenses.
Assist with CPaaS financial operations, including payments, purchase orders, invoice generation, and validation.
Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders and governance teams, including procurement, compliance, and other related functions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge:
Experience in understanding business dynamics and structures.
Fluent in Japanese and high level English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A “people person” who enjoys building relationships and bringing a positive, solutions-driven mindset to every interaction.
A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to business success.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools."
