In this role, you will strategically lead and drive the Modern Trade (MT) trade marketing agenda to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz and our strategic retail partners. You will collaborate closely with Key Account Leaders and cross-functional teams to design, forecast, and implement commercial plans that deliver our annual targets.
You will hold end-to-end accountability for the MT channel's commercial strategy, budget management, and execution excellence:
Strategic Account Planning: Lead customer-specific strategies, including Joint Business Planning (JBP/JVC), and own the holistic MT promotional and activity calendar.
Commercial Commercialization: Lead the translation of core Marketing campaigns into actionable MT channel activities, including trade promotions and New Product Development (NPD) launches.
Forecasting & Demand: Own the building blocks for account forecasting (Baseline, Promotions, New Store Openings) and lead high-stakes seasonal volume planning, specifically for Tet
Budget & ROI Management: End-to-end management of the GSD (Promotions & Rentals) and A&C budgets. Drive strict procurement compliance (PR-PO/GR workflow) and robust post-evaluation of promotion efficiency to optimize ROI.
In-Store Excellence: Define localized schemes and track Perfect Store (PS) KPIs (ASM, OSA, SOS, OOL) in close collaboration with the Sales field team.
Channel Analytics: Monitor the MT channel scorecard, tracking revenue, coverage, and SKU-level performance to capture new growth opportunities and mitigate competitive threats.
Modern Trade Expertise: Proven experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Key Account Management handling the Modern Trade (MT) channel within the FMCG sector.
Commercial Leadership: Experience leading business planning, building sales quotas, and driving strategic channel building blocks.
Financial & Process Acumen: Strong capability in managing commercial budgets, P&L inputs, and navigating corporate procurement and governance systems.
Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the resilience to influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Brand, Leadership) and navigate tough customer negotiations.
Proactive Problem Solving: A track record of developing proactive business solutions when facing market challenges.
