The Position:

To ensure all restaurant dishes, pots and pans are cleaned in a fast and consistent manner. Assists the supervisor and cooks in the day to day operations and maintenance of the culinary department. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleans all restaurant and kitchen equipment, sinks, tables and drains in an orderly and consistent manner.
• Ensures the cleaning and sanitizing of all walk-in refrigerators. Maintains a clean and safe work area as directed by industry standards.
• Ensures that all floor mats, floors and walls are properly cleaned.
• Maintain a proper and professional relationship with all staff members and remain current on all policies and procedures that deal with the kitchen and the property.
• Assist cooks and stewards as needed. May perform other special projects as needed and as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 6 months experience in dealing with restaurant back of the house items required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
