Responsible for accurately processing citations and other court documents through the Municipal justice system from initial contact through finalization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide customer service to the public including explaining legal filing processes, calendaring procedures, fees, fines, jury service rules, etc.
Obtain, process, and review legal documents for completeness and conformity to legal requirements and manage related record keeping.
Schedule court appearances and hearings and update court calendars, ensuring case files are complete before and after court proceedings.
Prepare and issue writs, warrants, and other official court documents as needed.
Process payments, including filing fees, cash bonds, fines, and account payments.
Update automated case records with rulings and payment information.

Minimum Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of advanced training beyond high school.
2 years of related experience in a court environment or law enforcement agency or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
