General Position Summary Patrols and provides security and crime prevention in and around the court; provides safety to the court staff and the public.

Education, Certification, & Experience
High school or GED certificate
No criminal history that involves serious misdemeanors, felonies or extensive driving record
Prior law enforcement experience is preferred.
Valid Driver's License
First Aid/CPR Certified
Must be 21 years of age
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software.

Work Schedule This position is part-time, scheduled for up to 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday. It is the attendance standard of the employer that all employees be present and on time each shift they are scheduled to work.
