The Brookdale Criminal Division of Hennepin County District Court is seeking a customer service focused, team-oriented Court Operations Associate to contribute to our mission of providing justice to the public. The Brookdale team fosters an inclusive, dynamic work environment and promotes equity for all court staff and court customers.
Court Operations Associates work individually and in teams to support a wide variety of court customers and justice partners, including community members, judges, law enforcement officials, and attorneys. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and technological skills to match our high-performance environment. The ability to practice independent judgment along with utilizing resources and team support is also crucial to success. Court Operations Associates rotate assignments daily, so each day brings new experiences and opportunities!
The Brookdale Courthouse handles solely misdemeanor criminal and traffic cases for the communities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Corcoran, Crystal, Dayton, Golden Valley, Greenfield, Hanover, Maple Grove, New Hope, Osseo, Robbinsdale, Rockford, Rogers, and St. Anthony.

The Brookdale team is located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota at 6125 Shingle Creek Pkwy, Suite 200 (first floor.) The courthouse has free parking available and is located near major freeways making for a convenient commute. This is a primarily in office position with limited remote work opportunities. The core hours for these positions are 8:00 am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, but may vary depending on the assignment and operational needs of the division.
Salary Range
The expected starting salary for external candidates is at least $23.50 per hour and may be higher, depending on qualifications. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for State of Minnesota employee benefits
