
Hennepin County District Court invites qualified applicants for a Court Operations Associate position assigned to the Civil Division- Civil Filing Department. Civil Filing handles a variety of civil cases including name change applications, implied consent and forfeiture cases, contract disputes, property claims, personal injury and product liability cases, minor settlements and more.
Civil Filing Court Operations Associates perform a variety of administrative assignments, both independently and as part of a team, using sound judgment and available resources. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with technology to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume electronic environment and a commitment to excellent customer service.
This AFSCME-represented position is classified as Court Operations Associate. Civil Filing is located on the third floor of the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South 6th Street, C-300, Minneapolis, MN 55487. Core business hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, but hours may vary depending on business needs. Staff in this position work primarily onsite. The relative amount of onsite versus remote work may change depending on business needs. Training is done onsite. Limited remote work opportunities are available to trained staff, depending on business needs. A reliable internet connection will be required if working remotely.

The expected starting salary for external candidates is at least $23.50 per hour and may be higher depending on qualifications. Pay will be determined in compliance with the AFSCME contract.
Starting salary range for candidates is $23.50 - $28.45 per hour ($49,068- $58,403 annually). The full salary range for this position is $21.45 - $35.44 per hour ($44,787 - $73,998 annually). This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for State of Minnesota employee benefits.
