We are looking for someone to join Team Yuma as a Court Clerk Supervisor, working with the Yuma Municipal Court. The ideal candidate will perform supervisory level functions in support of Court Operations and Court Compliance of the Yuma Municipal Court.
Under basic supervision, this job classification assists Court Administration in supervising Court Clerks; directly supervises court operations and/or judicial compliance division at the Yuma Municipal Court (YMC) as assigned; provides technical assistance to Court Clerks; supervises courtroom operations and/or compliance case management; performs specialized legal clerical work in support of the operations of the Court.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND three years' experience as a Court Clerk with one year Arizona courtroom clerk experience (COY Court Clerk II equivalent) ; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
A valid Arizona State Driver's License is required. Arizona Committee on Judicial Education Training (COJET) continuing training accreditation is required within 12 months of hire. Must attend COY Supervisor and Arizona Court Supervisor Training Programs within 12 months of hire.
Work is performed in a standard office environment, courtroom and ancillary court facilities. May occasionally be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects.
