Job Description

Role: Courseware Officer Intern

Employment Type: NYSC Corps Member

Location: Fadeyi Lagos

Salary: 50k

Reports To: Courseware Lead / Head of Department

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a smart, proactive and technology-oriented NYSC Corps Member to support the Courseware Department in the development, formatting, review and preparation of professional learning and training materials.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with computers and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, and should demonstrate strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing, formatting and updating courseware, training materials and presentations.
• Create and edit professional PowerPoint presentations in line with company standards.
• Format documents, training manuals, handouts and other learning materials.
• Assist with research and compilation of information for courseware development.
• Review courseware materials for spelling, grammar, formatting and consistency.
• Assist in converting and organizing content into appropriate training formats.
• Support the Courseware team with preparation of materials for training programmes.
• Maintain proper organization and version control of courseware files.
• Assist with basic data entry, documentation and administrative activities within the department.
• Carry out other assignments relating to courseware development as may be required.

REQUIRED QUALITIES & COMPETENCIES

• Smart, intelligent and willing to learn.
• Good computer literacy and ability to work independently with a laptop/computer.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good research and information-gathering skills.
• Ability to understand instructions and translate them into quality deliverables.
• Good sense of presentation, structure and visual organization.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to work.
• Willingness to receive feedback and improve.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must stay around or close to Fadeyi Lagos
• Must have at least 10 months remaining before completion of the NYSC programme
