The following classes are available for overload opportunities pursuant to the KEA agreement (see Articles 8.19, 8.20, 8.21)
• 8.19 Teachers will be eligible to apply for open classes if they have a minimum of three years of teaching experience, one year of which must be with the Keene School District.
• 8.20 Teachers may not teach prep time classes for two successive semesters unless there are no other qualified applicants. The principal will make the final hiring decision.
• 8.210pen positions will be posted on and submitted via the SAU 29 application web site. Open positions will also be posted in the teachers' room at the school where the opening is available.
The job posting number is 6066. We are posting these classes pursuant to the CBA. The vacancies are pending the failure to hire a staff member. We will keep the list updated and continue to use email to notify staff too.

School districts in New Hampshire are organized in School Administrative Units (SAUs). School Administrative Unit 29 is comprised of seven independent school districts— Chesterfield, Harrisville, Keene, Marlborough, Marlow, Nelson, and Westmoreland.
SAU29 is the largest multi-district S.A.U. in New Hampshire. Its responsibilities include managing a collective budget of approximately $90.7 million, maintaining 14 school buildings, coordinating the activities of seven independent school boards, and supervising the educational program for approximately 4,950 students.
SAU 29 and its member districts employ more than 960 people and cover 211 square miles in southwestern New Hampshire.
