A unionized contractual lecturer appointment to teach Course MECH 309 Numerical Methods in Mechanical Engineering

A Course assignment includes all or part of the following teaching activities:

  • Preparation of the course and course plan

  • Delivery of the course

  • Evaluation of students

  • Submitting to the University a report on students attendance and student grades

  • Supervision of Teaching Assistants or any other teaching support staff

  • Upon request review of their students' grades

  • Meeting with students, being available to answer questions and give advice concerning course content and requirements

Course Lecturer MECH 309 Numerical Methods in Mechanical Engineering

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience teaching or in industry.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of spoken and written English.

  • Understanding cross-cultural practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and flexible approach to teaching.

Salary:

$11,824
