Teaching Qualification Requirements:

Education

B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering

Experience

At least five years of industry experience, technology selection, and process and/or plant design.

Taught a core undergraduate Chemical Engineering course at least once, and ideally a Process Design course.

Expert with the Aspen-HYSYS process simulation software developed by AspenTech that allows engineers to perform steady-state and dynamic simulations, optimize operations, and test process designs before physical implimentation.

Other qualification requirement(s):

Excellent communication skills (written, spoken).
