About the Business 

For over 80 years, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) has empowered individuals and organisations to thrive with industry-focused education solutions. AIM has developed over 100 short courses and Vocational Qualifications to help our students advance their skills and career, regardless of industry and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop structured course content, applied exercises and key concepts, frameworks and talking points, aligned to course learning outcomes.
  • Create practical learning assets such as decision frameworks, governance models, applied exercises and reflection activities grounded in organisational contexts.
  • Develop leadership frameworks addressing key considerations including:
  • when autonomy is appropriate
  • how accountability is maintained
  • how oversight and guardrails are defined
  • how risk is assessed and monitored
  • how decisions can be defended at executive or board level
  • Work closely with the Learning Designer to translate complex agentic AI concepts into clear, structured learning experiences for non-technical leaders.
  • Ensure content is outcome-driven, aligned to adult learning principles and suitable for virtual and face-to-face delivery.
  • Provide relevant examples of governance approaches, decision frameworks or organisational policies guiding the use of autonomous AI systems.

About you

Required Skills and Experience

  • Current or recent experience in a leadership or management role responsible for evaluating, governing or implementing AI initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to decision frameworks, governance approaches or policies addressing AI autonomy, accountability and risk.
  • Ability to translate complex AI leadership challenges into practical frameworks, case studies and organisational scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of organisational risk, oversight and accountability when delegating decision authority to autonomous systems.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience contributing to leadership-level learning programs and applying adult learning principles.
  • Experience presenting AI strategy, governance or risk considerations to senior stakeholders or board-level audiences is highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with Learning Designers to refine content.

Remuneration

Total project fee: $8,500 AUD ex. GST

Fee includes development of all agreed course materials and participation in review iterations. Final deliverables, scope and timelines will be jointly agreed with the Learning Designer upon successful appointment.
