Starting Rate: $22.00

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

Under direction of the Operations Officer, performs various necessary to transport items and correspondence between Branches, Operation Centers, Post Offices and customers locations. As a member of our courier staff, ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives, as well meet all department's daily deadlines.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick up and delivers correspondence/items.
  • Keeps Auto Mileage Log/Auto Maintenance checklist.
  • Maintains courier Delivery Log and Internal Transit Log.
  • Handles Priority Mail items per procedure.
  • Follows daily schedule as established by supervisor.
  • Performs non-scheduled tasks as required.
  • Notifies Supervisor of issues or delays while in route.
  • Notifies Supervisor of any auto needs.
  • Follow all Bank’s Policies and Procedures in place.
  • Be flexible, and attentive to details to provide a great customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING

  • Communication with Supervisor when problems/issues arise is a must.

  • Delays can affect deadlines and it needs to be reported to the Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Completion of High School or equivalent

Skills/Knowledge

  • Requires a valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Basic Computer Skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail to achieve highest level of quality service
  • Maintains strong organizational skills with the ability to to follow directions and instructions.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility a must.

  • Able to lift up to 25lbs.
