Team Description

The Eats FP&A Team partners closely with business and finance teams to support Eats’ growth across Korea and Japan. The team provides financial insights, forecasting, and performance management to enable data-driven business decisions. We strengthen financial controllership while developing scalable reporting and planning processes to support the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

1. Support the consolidated financial view of Eats across Korea and Japan

Consolidate financial performance across marketplaces and P&L lines to support a holistic view of business performance, outlook, risks, and opportunities. Coordinate inputs across FP&A team members and help provide leadership with a consistent and integrated financial view of the business.

2. Support forecasting, planning, and financial controllership

Support key forecasting and planning processes for Eats, including Korea headcount and fixed costs planning. Partner with Eats FP&A team members, central finance and accounting teams, and business stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy, strengthen financial controllership, and identify opportunities to make planning processes more efficient and scalable.

3. Prepare management reporting and financial insights

Maintain key finance reports and dashboards and translate financial movements into clear business insights. Partner with team members to connect P&L performance and variances to underlying business drivers and develop clear financial narratives for management.

4. Maintain financial structures and P&L integrity

Serve as a key point of contact for cost centers, GL accounts, and mappings between Management P&L and Central Submission P&L. Support accurate and consistent financial reporting by maintaining financial structures, identifying mapping or classification issues, and coordinating necessary updates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for day-to-day work and collaboration
  • 6+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years of direct FP&A experience with exposure to the full P&L
  • Ability to understand the connection between business drivers and financial impacts
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, focus on the highest-impact work, and continuously improve and simplify processes
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities, including the ability to design, build, and maintain financial models
  • Experience partnering with business and finance stakeholders across functions
  • Practical data analysis skills, including data preparation, validation, analysis, and presentation of findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Influence internal team members and external stakeholders without authority
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with SAP FI
  • Basic SQL proficiency
  • Experience leveraging GenAI tools to improve productivity and financial analysis

In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
  5. The above paragraphs 1 - 4 shall only apply when the labor-related laws of Korea govern the application. They are otherwise not applicable.
