Country Total Rewards Consultant - Austria and Switzerland (DACH)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Compensation and Benefits Consultant to manage the Total Rewards programes available across the HP DACH cluster, with particular focus on Austria and Switzerland.

You will join the Northern Europe Total Rewards Team and will work within the strategic frameworks set out by the EMEA Region and Global Compensation and Benefits centers of expertise. You will be expected to build strong partnerships with local HR, Finance, Payroll, Procurement and Legal functions as well as with the external benefits consultants and vendors to deliver compliant, competitive programs.

Key Responsibilities

Program Design & Administration

  • Lead design, implement and oversee administration of country-specific benefits, programs, procedures and processes including Pension plans, Health and Wellbeing, Time off programs, Perquisite cars, voluntary and other benefits.
  • Manage and oversee end-to-end benefits delivery including strategic planning, RFP and/or renewal (market checks), leadership insights and recommendations, implementation, MOC, governance, compliance, vendor performance management, and employee support.
  • Review and benchmark country Pay Structures to ensure market alignment; Calculate MINC and other compensation elements as per local collective agreements requirements.
  • Oversee supplemental pay and severance program design ensuring competitiveness, compliance and meeting business needs

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Global/Regional TR, HR, Compliance, Legal, Finance, HRGS, Procurement, Payroll, Labor Relations, Country Leadership) and external vendors for program delivery.
  • Collaborate and support global TR projects and programs such as M&A, Wellbeing, Job Architecture, ARC, MINCs forecasts, etc.
  • Communicate and administer country programs to stakeholders, partners and employees.
  • Provide insights through standard reports and dashboards.

Analysis & Compliance

  • Ensure C&B proposals balance affordability, market competitiveness, employee engagement, alignment with business objectives, and full legal/compliance requirements.
  • Review C&B market benchmarks, emerging trends, claim ratios, and programs effectiveness.
  • Provide C&B insights and design recommendations, including support to HR/LR on WC/Union negotiations related to TR implementations, local crisis management or event.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluency in English and German language – reading and writing
  • Expertise & Strategic Thinking skills: Technical and country C&B expertise; trusted subject matter expert who can translate data into actionable insights that drive business success.
  • Leadership & Collaboration skills: Ability to organize programs and processes effectively and takes accountability for projects and ensures timely, high-quality deliverables. Strong program and project management and leadership. Strong consulting and influencing skills.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Strong written/verbal communication, negotiation and training skills.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Finance, Business, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 6-10 years professional experience in the Total Rewards environment or similar role (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Payroll)


*Please note, the below salary range information applies for candidates in Poland only.

The base pay range for this role is163,350 PLNto247,600 PLNannually with additional cash compensation opportunities in the form of annual cash incentive bonuses. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity awards (typically granted in the form of restricted stock units) that are independently granted by the Company's U.S. parent corporation, HP Inc., on a discretionary basis under its equity plan. Pay varies by job-related skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, experience and work location.
