The Country Therapeutic Area Leader (cTAL) is a senior leadership role providing local leadership, driving both country and therapeutic area objectives. This role involves contributing to the Country Leadership Team,, partnering on process improvement and innovation, and leading a high-performing team. The cTAL is accountable for developing and executing the country TA strategy in alignment with global priorities, ensuring effective country delivery of studies, and performing country landscaping to support the pipeline. Effective stakeholder collaboration is critical, with a focus on proactive engagement with internal and external partners. In hub countries, the cTAL collaborates with the CH of the affiliated countries on TA strategy and study delivery.

The Opportunity:
Country Strategy and Leadership:
Collaborate with the Country Leadership Team and key leaders to design and implement strategies improving operational efficiency.
Lead a high-performing team through collective leadership to execute the country strategy.
Therapeutic Area (TA) Strategy and Delivery:
Develop and execute the country's TA strategy aligned with global goals.
Analyze performance metrics, adapt global priorities to local plans, and oversee clinical study delivery within therapeutic areas.
Conduct market analyses to support pipeline development and strategic planning.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders (regional/global leaders, study teams) and external ones (clinical sites, investigator networks, advocacy groups).
Partner with teams to address challenges and strengthen collaboration.
People Leadership and Development:
Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and high performance while encouraging individual growth and leadership development.
Manage performance cycles, provide feedback, and champion talent development while handling people management activities.
Hub Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Country Heads of affiliated hub nations to craft and execute TA strategies.
Share accountability for delivering studies efficiently across therapeutic areas within the hub.
