Job Description

Job Location: COUNTRY STORE BRILLION - combined with headquarters Brillion - BRILLION, WI 54110The Pet Grooming Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Pet Groomer with preparing animals for their scheduled services. These responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop long term relationships with pet owners by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy
- Ensure the Wellness and Safety of pet patrons at all times
- Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting
- Call clients in advance of appointments to reduce missed appointments & offer additional service offerings
- Assist with bathing animals and drying animals
- Assist with nail trimming services and other walk in services
- Be willing to learn more about grooming procedures & techniques
- Assist store team members during grooming downtime
- Must be reliable & punctual

QualificationsThe ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications or skills:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, pets and/or equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Able to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of phone etiquette & computer usage
- Animal handling experience
The candidate must successfully pass a background check.
Pay is based on qualifications and experience.
