Join Nilfisk as our Service Manager for Hungary & Romania and play a key role in driving service excellence across two dynamic markets.

Lead and manage the service department covering Nilfisk's aftermarket services across Hungary and Romania, with responsibility for efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Typical Responsibilities

• Manage field service engineers/technicians and service delivery teams in both Hungary and Romania.
• Own the service P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation from service contracts.
• Ensure SLA and KPI targets are met (response times, first-time-fix rate, customer satisfaction).
• Build and maintain the local service network (technicians, subcontractors, and spare parts logistics).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety and quality standards in each country.
• Act as a liaison between local operations and regional/global headquarters.
• Recruit, train, and develop the service team.
• Support sales with technical expertise on service contracts and renewals.
• Monitor market and competitor trends in service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in service and technical management, including people management experience.
• Experience managing multi-country or multi-site operations.
• Fluency in English and Hungarian; Romanian is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel between the two countries.
• Industry-specific background, such as medical/laboratory equipment, industrial machinery, or IT hardware.
