The Country Sales Manager Sheetfed France is responsible for executing the country sales and technical strategy within the assigned area of responsibility.
The role ensures the achievement of revenue, margin, market share targets and technical development & follow-up by managing key customer relationships, leading the local sales and technical organization and coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver best-in-class customer solutions.
Pay Range: € 62.000-81.000
The agreed total compensation will be determined based on an individual candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Your Role:
Commercial Performance & Technical application Management
- Execute the country sales and technical strategy and ensure alignment with BU objectives: sales budget, forecasts, commercial pipeline, technical and customer service follow-up and development
- Achieve defined revenue and gross margin targets (> €13,8 Mio. net sales scope), ensuring pricing discipline in line with company guidelines and profitability targets
- Identify and drive growth opportunities: new business, product expansion, market development, technical solutions
- Monitor performance and implement corrective actions in case of deviations
Key Account Management
- Manage and develop strategic customer accounts both sales and technical within the assigned region and some key accounts, support international and country key account strategies where applicable
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships from technical to purchase
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements and commercial terms within defined authority
- Ensure delivery of high-value customer solutions with technical and operational teams
Sales & Technical Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, motivate and develop the FR sales and technical team
- Define and monitor individual and team performance targets with compliance with internal processes and commercial governance
- Drive performance management processes: pipeline reviews, sales reporting, performance tracking, technical follow-up, development and claims
- Organize and lead regular sales & technical meetings and business reviews
- Coach team members to enhance commercial and technical capabilities and customer engagement
Cross-functional Coordination
- Ensure effective collaboration with: Technology teams, Product Management, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Service and Finance
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to: support customer projects, prioritize technical requirements, ensure service level / delivery
- Facilitate the introduction of new products and solutions in the market
- Align customer expectations with internal capabilities
Market Intelligence & Strategic Contribution
- Monitor and analyze: market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs and insights both from products and solutions
- Contribute to the development of: country sales plans, market & product strategies, innovation roadmap
- Build and maintain external networks (customers, industry associations, stakeholders)
Your Profile:
Qualifications / Experiences
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
- Minimum 10- years of professional experience in B2B sales (preferably chemical or packaging industry)
- Proven experience in: key account management, commercial negotiations,sales performance management
- French and English fluent
