You want to safeguard our customers, co-workers and brands by proactive handling of Safety & Security risks. You take pride in doing so because you think the Safety and Security of our customers, co-workers and assets is very important!

You want to create results through collaboration with many great colleagues in all parts of the whole INGKA Sweden business, including IKEA Retail and INGKA Centres. Sharing and living the IKEA culture and values comes naturally to you. You are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English.

Moreover, you:
• have proven knowledge in the field of Safety and/or Security
• demonstrates a strong ability to get things done and drive change, acting with integrity while providing clear and constructive feedback
• inspire and clarify, so that the colleagues in all our units get the right pre-requisites to secure the Safety & Security in their units
• are a natural leader, comfortable to both support and challenge stakeholders in the organization
• are structured and independent
• are very comfortable with learning and working with digital systems,
• know how to analyze incident data to create learnings and insights for risk mitigation
• have knowledge of how to assess and mitigate Safety & Security risks in a business environment.

Your responsibilities

The purpose of this job is to ensure holistic and proactive safety and security risk handling. Ensuring safety & security risks are identified, assessed and treated and by doing so, safeguarding our co-workers, customer, assets and the IKEA brand.

You will (among other things):
• Partner with key stakeholders in the business
• adapt, implement and operate global safety and security frameworks
• secure effective incident handling
• collaborate with the business to detect, analyze and reduce fraud and theft
• deliver subject matter expertise and guidance in the areas of safety and/or security
• lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set, raise risk awareness and promote a risk culture throughout INGKA Sweden.

This role includes on-call duty approximately every sixth week. If you are selected as a final candidate in this recruitment process, you will be required to provide a criminal record check.

You will be in a team led by the Country Business Risk & Compliance Manager. We work closely with the Safety & Security Responsible in all units. We’re a diverse group of people who work together to protect and strengthen the IKEA and INGKA brand through our focus on risk management, compliance, business operations, health and safety. Thanks to our efforts, co-workers, visitors and customers can feel safe. At least we think that’s pretty cool!
