General Description of the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in representing and growing Campari portfolio, leading the charge to elevate our brands through strong influence, partnership, and leadership. This role is pivotal in inspiring and challenging our local distributor to co-deliver the ambition behind our premium portfolio.

Mission/Objectives

The mission of the role is to deliver business results in the assigned country, by designing and executing channel plans and portfolio strategy, ensuring a coherent approach and deployment in the market. The role will drive the day-to-day relationship with the third-party distributors and their

teams, aiming at identifying and capturing all new business opportunities, reflecting Campari premium positioning and long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Strategy and planning

  • Leads the country and portfolio strategy, driving shipment, depletion, and inventory targets with a clear understanding of their impact on the P&L.
  • Defines, aligns, and ensures flawless execution of the annual channel and customer marketing plan in collaboration with distributor teams, with the ultimate goal of enhancing visibility and deepening consumer, shopper, and bartender engagement at the point of sale;
  • Identifies opportunities for portfolio optimization and expansion, spearheading new launches in line with regional strategic priorities;
  • Builds and nurtures strong day-to-day relationships with distributors, mastering key market performance indicators. Analyzes business evolution and competitive dynamics, leveraging insights and trends to identify growth levers and shape winning market strategies.
  • Oversees the monthly operating rhythm, business planning, and sales forecasting process to ensure timely shipments, accurate financial planning, and operational excellence.
  • Embeds the RTC model in full alignment with the regional team, ensuring consistency and strategic coherence.
  • Owns the local budget, managing and tracking BTL activities, CCM investments, and ROI. Translates consumer insights, competitor analysis, visibility initiatives, and sales performance into actionable strategies, feeding into annual strategic and budget exercises.
  • Maintains strong distributor focus and commitment toward the Campari Group portfolio, ensuring top-of-mind presence and advocacy.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, passion, and brand ownership within partner organizations, inspiring teams to deliver excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Relationships

Internal: Managing Director APM, Regional Marketing, CCM & BA teams, Demand and Customer Service teams

External: Third Party Distributors sales & marketing teams, On-Trade customers / Outlets

Education / Experience Required

  • Minimum 8-12 years of relevant sales, marketing and customer marketing experience, within a structured multinational company.
  • Relevant local experience in the Spirits, Wine and Beer industry
  • Knowledge and experience in the on-premise is a strong plus
  • Having managed third parties distributors is a plus
  • Experience in premium brands development in a structured multinational context (incl. being exposed to different marketing roles: global / regional / local / trade marketing etc…)
  • Economics / Marketing / Business Administration University Degree
