What You’ll Do

As a Country Manager Nordics, you will lead Abbott’s Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Diseases business across the Nordic region, with full accountability for commercial performance, strategy execution and team leadership.

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Nordic region, driving sustainable growth and profitability

  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing commercial teams and distributor networks to achieve ambitious sales objectives

  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities, building and executing strategic business and marketing plans

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, healthcare stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

  • Negotiate contracts and drive commercial excellence across all customer interactions

  • Lead cross-divisional collaboration to strengthen Abbott’s overall value proposition in the region

  • Ensure effective implementation and use of salesforce effectiveness tools, including CRM systems

  • Monitor market dynamics, healthcare trends, reimbursement landscapes and competitive activity

  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Foster an entrepreneurial, inclusive and high-performance culture aligned with Abbott values

  • Deliver accurate forecasts, business reviews and performance insights to regional leadership

  • Lead change management initiatives and continuously optimize organizational capability and structure

  • Support product launches, market development initiatives and referral programs

  • Partner with global teams to align local strategies with Abbott’s broader vision and pipeline

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong commercial background with significant leadership experience in the medical device or diagnostics industry, ideally within the Nordic region

  • Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibility and consistently delivering on sales targets

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams and/or distributor networks

  • Strong business acumen, including financial management, forecasting and strategic planning

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated success in driving salesforce effectiveness and CRM adoption

  • Experience launching new products and building market presence

  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement and regulatory environments in the Nordics

  • Fluency in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage

  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed and cross-functional international organization
