Country Manager - Flow Control Thailand

Are you a results-driven sales leader with a passion for flow control and customer value creation? We are looking for a Sales and Service Manager to lead and develop Valmet’s Flow Control business in Thailand, executing our go‑to‑market strategy through both direct sales and authorized distributor channels.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth, developing a high-performing sales organization, and strengthening customer and channel partner relationships. You will work closely with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to deliver value-added services and lifecycle solutions that enhance our customers’ operational performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop the Flow Control sales organization to achieve business targets through direct customer engagement and distributor-based sales

  • Own and execute the local channel strategy, including managing, enabling, and developing authorized distributors to ensure strong market coverage and consistent value-based selling.

  • Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities across the customer lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with internal Sales, Services, Product Line, and Channel Development teams to deliver integrated, value-added solutions.

  • Drive disciplined sales execution and pipeline development by actively engaging customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop team and distributor competence in selected applications and solutions within Valmet’s Flow Control portfolio, ensuring alignment with Valmet ways of working

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Flow Control, with proven leadership or management experience; experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated experience working with indirect sales models, including distributors or channel partners.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and partners in complex business environments.

  • A customer-centric mindset and passion for applying world-class technology and lifecycle solutions to create customer value.

  • Knowledge of customer processes and/or valve and flow control technologies is an advantage.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.

  • Eligible for local employment in Thailand (no work permit required).
