Job Description

Remitee, a rapidly growing international payments Fintech, is looking for Country Manager to lead our expansion in Argentina.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the country’s growth strategy, driving market penetration, and ensuring operational excellence.

You will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions and regulators.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, expanding relationships with existing partners, and driving commercial excellence in the assigned country.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the country’s expansion and growth strategy, ensuring strong market penetration and regional consolidation.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, financial institutions, regulators, and stakeholders to drive business development.
• Manage the full commercial cycle, from lead generation and deal negotiation to onboarding and product rollout.
• Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial agreements tailored to local market conditions.
• Represent Remitee in the country, positioning the company as a key player through strategic partnerships, networking, and industry events.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth local operations, excellent customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
• Foster internal alignment and collaboration to achieve country-specific goals.

Candidate’s Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within business development, commercial strategy, or general management in B2B, B2B2C or SaaS companies in the financial industry, payments, software, blockchain, or related sectors, preferably with banking clients.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and align teams with business objectives.
• Highly proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to dynamic environments. Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute complex projects.
