Country Manager, Philippines

Makati, Metro Manila | Full-time | Animal Nutrition and Agribusiness

TalentUp Consulting is supporting an established international animal nutrition business in appointing a Country Manager for the Philippines

This newly created position will bring greater commercial ownership and leadership into the local market. It suits someone who combines technical or sector knowledge with sales leadership, distributor management, and a strong understanding of Philippine customers.

This is an active, market-facing role. You will lead the local commercial team, strengthen distributor performance, develop customer relationships, and coordinate the Philippine business with regional and functional stakeholders.

What you will lead

• Develop and execute the Philippine sales and market-development plan
• Lead and coach the local sales and key account team
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline, forecasts and customer activity
• Strengthen existing distributors and develop new routes to market
• Build trusted relationships with customers and channel partners
• Translate technical knowledge into practical customer and commercial value
• Support decisions involving pricing, margin, budgets and business priorities
• Coordinate customer and operational matters across Sales, Accounting, Logistics and regional teams
• Provide market intelligence that supports commercial and strategic decisions

What we are looking for

You should bring a credible combination of sector knowledge, commercial leadership, and local market relationships.

Relevant experience might come from:

• Animal nutrition, feed additives, premix, livestock or feed
• Animal health, veterinary products, vaccines or biosecurity
• Agricultural inputs or another closely related technical B2B sector

Strong candidates will demonstrate:

• Experience leading salespeople, key accounts or distributor-led commercial activities
• Established relationships within the Philippine customer or distributor market
• Progression from technical, product or sector-focused work into sales and business leadership
• Exposure to revenue, margin, pricing, forecasting, budgets or P&L decisions
• Confidence working with regional leaders and cross-functional teams
• Professional English communication
• Willingness to maintain a regular Makati office presence and travel to customers and distributors across the Philippines

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine qualification is preferred. Animal Science, Agriculture or another relevant degree will also be considered.

You do not need to hold the Country Manager title today. Your actual responsibilities, leadership scope, and commercial achievements matter more than the title printed on your business card.
