Could you be the full-time Human Resources Director in Hungary ( Primary location: Mátranovák - hybrid working from Budapest available ) we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your HR expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Cluster Human Resources Director and work alongside passionate and supportive teammates.

You'll developing and implementing strategic and operational HR solutions within the framework of ALSTOM HR Strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to achieve business Quality, Cost and Delivery targets and acts as a change agent to support ongoing organisational and cultural changes and much more.

You’ll specifically be responsible for the deployment in an optimized manner of the HR policies & processes for the Unit in line with the ALSTOM HR guidelines.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Support development & drive implementation of Global HR strategy at Site level in line with Business strategy;
  • Develop and ensure efficient implementation of global and local HR processes, policies and tools;
  • Support, coach and counsel Line and Senior Management in all HR related matters, e.g. concerning HR processes and tools, leadership and organizational change and development;
  • Analyze HR data so as to address issues pertaining to attrition, staffing, employee performance, training;
  • Provide coordination and support for management and employees to implement ALSTOM People Management Cycle (PMC) and self-service local deployment; ensure accuracy and timeliness of records;
  • Work out detailed HC budget and respect personnel cost budget and training cost for his/her scope;
  • Lead the recruitment processes including building a strong attraction strategy;
  • Maintain adherence to local statutory compliance norms;
  • Cooperation with Trade Unions.

  • University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Law;
  • Strong experience in a similar position;
  • Organizational and excellent communication skills with transparency, influencing and persuasion skills;
  • Global & Cultural Awareness;
  • Strong team working abilities with an ability to create positive climate between employees at all levels of the organization;
  • Working knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection, staff planning and labor cost budgeting skills;
  • Solid understanding, knowledge & experience in HR Management tools, policies, processes & best practices;
  • Strong knowledge of the local labor laws;
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian is a must.
