The Role
The Enterprise Resilience Manager is responsible for leading and supporting Citi’s Enterprise Resilience (ER) programme across the country, ensuring business continuity, crisis management and invocation readiness. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure ER requirements are effectively implemented and aligned to business needs, while supporting the delivery of local, Cluster and Global resilience strategies.
The role reports to the MEA Cluster ER Head, with a matrix reporting line to the Technology Head in Israel, and works closely with Cluster and Global ER teams and Country Management.
The Team
The Enterprise Resilience organisation provides the policies, standards, tools and guidance that underpin the programme globally. This role is responsible for their effective implementation within the supported country.
Citi’s Enterprise Resilience programme is designed to protect employees, business operations and technology and ensure the organisation can respond effectively to disruption, including crisis and resolution events. The programme covers Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Recovery Plans (BRPs), Crisis Management Plans (CMPs), testing and exercising, risk and compliance, training, awareness, reporting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Citi’s Enterprise Resilience Policy, Standards and Continuity of Business (CoB) requirements across the supported country.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Business Recovery Plans (BRPs) and Crisis Management Plans (CMPs).
- Provide guidance and support to Business Recovery Coordinators (BRCs) and Lead BRCs across the country.
- Coordinate and document business continuity and crisis management testing, including BRP, CMP, Denial of Service (DoS), Denial of Access (DoA) and Call Tree exercises.
- Monitor country-level KPIs, risks and remediation actions, ensuring issues are escalated and corrective actions are completed within agreed timescales.
- Oversee CoB training, awareness and communications across supported business areas.
- Advise business stakeholders on recovery strategies and resilience capabilities to reduce business interruption risk and improve recovery effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and global Business Continuity requirements, working with Compliance and regional ER teams.
- Support the implementation of Cluster and Global Enterprise Resilience initiatives within the country.
- Maintain the Country Crisis Management Plan (CCMP) and Infection Disease Playbook in line with Citi’s Crisis Management Standards.
- Ensure employee contact information is maintained accurately for crisis communications, including CENS and Everbridge.
- Coordinate the country response to crisis events, including escalation and invocation of Crisis Management Teams where required.
- Provide timely status updates to Cluster and Global ER teams during incidents, crisis events and CoB invocations.
- Lead and coordinate Crisis Management tabletop exercises.
- Support pandemic preparedness and response activities, including action tracking, reporting and Return to Office coordination where required.
- Participate in wider Cluster and Global ER projects and initiatives and engage with relevant external parties as required.
- Develop broad knowledge of Citi’s businesses, operations and Enterprise Resilience environment.
- Build leadership, stakeholder management, influencing and programme management capabilities across a complex global organisation.
- Gain significant exposure to senior stakeholders, Country Management and Cluster and Global ER teams.
- Develop experience across Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience and Technology Resilience.
- Provide a strong platform for progression into further senior and high-profile roles within Citi.

- Experience in Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a large, complex and globally distributed organisation.
- Good understanding of technology and its role in business resilience.
- Experience managing programmes, projects, risk, compliance or governance activities.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering through influence in a matrix environment.
- Resilience, adaptability and composure, particularly during periods of disruption or crisis.
- Ability to achieve results through influence, collaboration and virtual team leadership.
- Ability to analyse complex and ambiguous situations and develop effective, practical solutions.
- Strong ownership, judgement and attention to detail.
Education
- University Degree with a specialization in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), BCI, or DRII preferred
