We are now looking for a highly skilled and experienced Country Controller to take on a key finance leadership role. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial governance, compliance, reporting, and advisory support across the country organization.

How you’ll make an impact

As Country Controller, you will lead and oversee the full spectrum of financial activities at the country level. Your role includes responsibility for financial integrity, compliance, regulatory reporting, and strategic financial insights that support business performance.

  • Lead financial governance and compliance: Ensure that all financial processes, transactions, filings, and tax submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive financial reporting and analysis: Oversee country-level financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and regulatory submissions, while providing senior leaders with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage planning, budgeting, and forecasting: Lead the annual budget and forecast cycles, support managers in interpreting financial results, and guide financial decision-making across the organization.
  • Advise and partner with the business: Serve as a strategic advisor to management on financial matters, including investment decisions, risk assessment, regulatory impacts, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead projects and develop the finance team: Drive key finance improvement initiatives, manage complex processes independently, and coach junior finance professionals to ensure capability growth and high-quality output.
  • Optimize cash flow and financial performance: Analyze revenue, costs, liabilities, and credit conditions to ensure effective cash flow planning and recommend financial instruments to meet business needs.

Your Background

  • Relevant academic degree: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid finance experience: Several years of experience in controlling, financial reporting, and financial management within a complex or international organization.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills: Proven ability to work with financial models, forecasts, and complex data, combined with deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communicator: Ability to clearly present financial insights to senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Leadership and coaching capability: Experience guiding junior finance colleagues or leading financial processes/projects.
