A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Commercial Execution: Develop and execute the annual sales strategy and business plan for the Diabetes portfolio in Czech Republic, in support of the company's overall financial and strategic objectives. Ensure sales strategies are aligned to the global business and maintain long-range sales and marketing plans. Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to adapt commercial go-to-market strategies effectively
  • Market Access & Strategic Initiatives: Oversee new product/market introductions, sales training programs and ensure attendance at key industry congresses and meetings. Provide strategy and direction for ongoing business development, implementation of marketing plans, development of sales and market development objectives and tools, and growth of the business for the region
  • Customer Relationship Management: Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Financial Performance: Drive portfolio profitability, track KPI’s, prepare accurate sales forecasting, reports and P&L management, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), executives, and industry partners to strengthen market positioning
  • People Management & Development: Manage a team of sales representatives, this role is responsible for hiring, performance management, rewards, coaching & development, Organization Talent Planning.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Education: University Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the medical devices industry, with a strong background in sales and portfolio management. Has advanced knowledge and skills within medical device sales, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. Requires practical sales, business development and management knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics for one or more products
  • People Management: Experience and strong track record in leading winning teams and developing talents. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of Diabetes technology, healthcare economics, and sales strategies
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data, market research, and financial reports to make informed decisions
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Czechia: 2,040,000.00 CZK - 3,060,000.00 CZK | This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
