Reporting to the Zone Business Lead (ZBL) for Southwest Europe, this Leadership position is directly accountable for leading our Siemens Healthineers Diagnostic P&L in Spain and Portugal to exceed sales goals sustainably by driving a high-performance culture. This includes responsibility for developing and executing key strategies that enable our teams to win and retain customers’ business at a profitable level to ensure overall commercial success across the core lab and specialties business lines.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You hold full end to end P&L accountability for the Diagnostics business, with ownership of revenue, margin, cost discipline, capital efficiency, and cash performance.
  • You establish a high performance, insight driven culture
  • You set and lead the enterprise level strategy for Spain and for Portugal, translating corporate priorities into sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term value creation across the full portfolio and pipeline of new product launches.
  • You champion a customer centric operating model, ensuring continuous improvement in customer experience, retention, and acquisition across all segments.
  • You ensure. through senior leadership teams, the effective and sustained deployment of managerial and operational excellence standards.
  • You own the workforce strategy and leadership capability, anticipating talent needs, succession, and organizational design to support long term business objectives.
  • You build and sustain executive level relationships with key customers, distributors, regulators, and industry partners to accelerate growth, strengthen reputation, and identify new strategic opportunities.
  • You lead organizational engagement and change, communicating business performance, strategic direction, and transformation priorities with clarity and conviction.
  • You ensure best in class forecasting excellence across capital and reagent businesses, partnering with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver high forecast accuracy, customer fulfillment expectations, and optimal inventory availability.
  • You champion disciplined CRM usage, transparency, and data led decision making as core leadership expectations.
  • You monitor and anticipate industry, regulatory, and technology trends, proactively shaping go to market strategies to maintain competitive advantage and future readiness.
  • You act as the public face of the organization in the market, representing the company at major congresses, industry forums, and strategic events; shape thought leadership content and external communication strategies.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have an excellent reputation in the IVD market with excellent customer relationships throughout the geography.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced leadership education is preferred.
  • You bring 15+ years of senior leadership experience within the Diagnostics (IVD) industry, with accountability for business growth, profitability, and organizational performance.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies, leading commercialization initiatives, driving market expansion, and managing complex P&L responsibilities.
  • You possess deep knowledge of the diagnostics market, healthcare ecosystem, and regulated commercial environments.
  • You have successfully led enterprise change and transformation, combining visionary leadership with data-driven decision-making and disciplined execution.
  • You demonstrate strong executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • You have successfully led high-performing teams, developed talent, and fostered a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • You excel in strategic thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and leading organizational change in complex business environments.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage.
  • You are willing to travel extensively within and potentially outside of the territory.
