We are now hiring for a Full-Time Counter Sales Manager for our rapidly expanding Electrical Supplies business. This position will be located at our Rochester, NY branch.

Schedule Monday - Friday during business operating hours

Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Duties:

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs.
• Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
• Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
• Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.
• Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
• Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
• Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
• Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
• Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
• Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
• Directs product research and development and presents to the inventory team as needed.
• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
• Regularly supervises day to day operation of at least two or more employees

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises at least two or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Knowledge of electrical product lines is highly desirable, but can be taught to the right candidate. Previous experience and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is a must. Other requirements:
